The REALTORS® Relief Foundation announced a $500,000 disaster-relief grant to assist Spokane County, Stevens County and Lincoln County communities affected by the 2026 wildfires.
Spokane is facing one of the most difficult moments in our region’s history. As of August 3, 2026, county officials report that more than 700 structures have been lost to the wildfires burning across the Spokane area, with roughly 400 additional properties still being evaluated for damage. Close to 67,000 people have been evacuated. The fires remain active, and while no deaths have been reported, we know many in our community are still waiting for news about their homes, their neighborhoods, and their neighbors.
Spokane REALTORS® is committed to supporting our members and our community through what comes next. This page will serve as a central source of information as the situation develops — including relief fund updates, resources for displaced homeowners and renters, and ways our community can help. We will keep it updated as new information becomes available.
